On Friday, March 16, Stockade Works, in association with the Bardavon, hosted a free screening of the documentary, “Newtown,” at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in the City of Kingston. The screening was followed by a panel discussion and conversation with attendees about gun safety reform. The panel was moderated by Melanie Forstrom and included the film's director Kim Snyder, Abbey Clements, Newtown survivor teacher; Kingston Police Chief Egidio Tinti; Kingston School Board President Nora Scherer, and Denise Ranaghan, Director of Peer Services for the New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services.
On Thursday, December 7, 2017, Stockade Works' co-founder Mary Stuart Masterson joined Laura Callanan, Upstart Co-Lab founding partner and Rebecca Rosen, senior editor of The Atlantic to discuss Building Creative Economies and how companies are working to make social impact a part of their bottom line.
