PHOTOS: "Newtown" Screening at the Ulster Performing Arts Center

On Friday, March 16, Stockade Works, in association with the Bardavon, hosted a free screening of the documentary, “Newtown,” at the Ulster Performing Arts Center (UPAC) in the City of Kingston. The screening was followed by a panel discussion and conversation with attendees about gun safety reform. The panel was moderated by Melanie Forstrom and included the film's director Kim Snyder, Abbey Clements, Newtown survivor teacher; Kingston Police Chief Egidio Tinti; Kingston School Board President Nora Scherer, and Denise Ranaghan, Director of Peer Services for the New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services.

Stockade Works comes out to celebrate Kingston's $10M victory!

On Wednesday, September 20, Stockade Works’ founder Mary Stuart Masterson and co-founder Beth Davenport proudly joined Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, Ulster County Executive Mike Hein, and Kingston Mayor Steve Noble for the announcement of $10 million in funding and investments for the City of Kingston, the Mid-Hudson Valley winner of the second round of the state's Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

RUPCO closes on The Metro

RUPCO recently closed on The Metro, the formerly vacant 70,000-square foot building poised to be redeveloped into a media & technology hub in midtown Kingston.

“This building in the heart of Midtown will no longer sit vacant. Instead, it will be bustling with innovation and purpose, empowering our local residents to access training, employment, and entrepreneurship,” said City of Kingston Mayor Steve Noble. “This isn’t just job creation, it’s community revitalization.”
