In this two-hour, step-by-step workshop, Kate will walk participants through how to build a polished, persuasive pitch deck for film and television projects, and how to use visuals, tone, and structure to make an idea stand out to buyers, producers, executives, and potential collaborators.

How to visually convey the tone, world, and characters of your project
How to structure a deck that tells your story clearly and concisely
How to use your deck to support a live pitch or stand on its own

Kate Sullivan - Director & Producer
Kate Sullivan has worked on both sides of the pitch. As former Head of Development for Thomas Kail's (Hamilton) production company Old 320 Sycamore, she produced acclaimed television series including Fosse/Verdon (FX), Up Here (Hulu), and We Were the Lucky Ones (Hulu), as well as the Emmy-nominated feature World's Best (Disney+). As a filmmaker, she has directed for Netflix's Nobody Wants This, premiered her short film The End of the Party at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, and was selected for both the Ryan Murphy Half Initiative and Disney Entertainment Television Directing Programs.
