The Stockade Works Access Youth Initiative (SWAY) is a film crew training program for high schools and colleges that prepares youth and young adults to work in the film crew industry and gain access to the growing professional opportunities available in the Hudson Valley.

SWAY prepares students to work as Production Assistants on professional film crews through hands-on training with industry professionals on industry-standard equipment. Participants also learn the nuts and bolts of film crew upward mobility, the benefits of union membership, and about the job application process to gain workforce access to this growing local industry.

By providing a comprehensive and interactive overview of film crew career trajectories, we aim to grow our local workforce and extend economic opportunities to youth and emerging adults in the Hudson Valley.

SWAY is comprised of the following components:

NYS EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS
