SWAY Teen Crew Boot Camp!

Are you a Columbia County teen curious about a career in film and television? Join us for a week-long, hands-on summer camp, designed specifically for ages 15 to 19.
As part of the Stockade Works Access Youth (SWAY) initiative, Teen Crew Boot Camp is a 5-day workforce development program led by experienced industry professionals to provide introductions to several on-set departments, preparing teens for the exciting and fast-paced world of working in film and TV production.

DAY 1: August 4, 9AM - 2PM
DAY 2: August 5, 9AM - 2PM
DAY 3: August 6, 9AM - 2PM
DAY 4: August 7, 9AM - 2PM
DAY 5: August 8, 9AM - 2PM
*If accepted, you must be available for all dates and times
Dates: August 4th - 8th
Time: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM daily
This teen crew boot camp will provide participants with:
Hands-on training experience in departments which include camera, sound, grip, electric, and art (props)
Basic Set 101 instruction so that participants will feel prepared to work on an actual set
Techniques for collaborating and working with actors, directors, and other departments
An understanding of departmental roles and operations
Departmental particulars, handling coils and cables, operating a boom, prop continuity, and more
Participants will be paid a $100 daily stipend - no payment needed to attend!
If needed, transportation assistance can be provided.
