Attention all aspiring Production Coordinators! Are you looking for an opportunity to learn from industry professionals and gain the skills needed to work in the production office of local film & TV productions? If so, our Production Coordinator workshop is the perfect opportunity for you!


ABOUT WORKSHOP:

SESSION 1:

SATURDAY, MARCH 25

9AM-5PM

SESSION 2:

SUNDAY, MARCH 26

9AM-5PM

This workshop will cover the following topics:

  • How a production office functions, who you will work with

  • How to manage communications with those on set 

  • Coordination of cast and crew accommodations, work permits, and visas

  • Distribution of shooting schedules, crew and cast lists, scripts, and script revisions

  • How to create daily progress reports, and handle script changes 

  • How to work alongside the transportation department

  • How to help the Production Manager ‘wrap’ a production

Led by experienced Production Coordinator Danielle Conquy (The Undoing, Your Place or Mine, Russian Doll, Broad City, Severance), this workshop will provide you with practical advice and guidance based on her direct experience in the industry.

Pre-requisites: 

If you are a well-organized, skilled multi-tasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, then you may be an excellent candidate for this position.

Stockade Works is particularly seeking diverse members of the community and women who are typically precluded from jobs in the film production sector.

Danielle Conquy Workshop with Stockade Works, Hudson Valley NY

Danielle Conquy is a Production Coordinator in New York City, working in Film/TV production for the past twelve years. Past projects include; The Tick, Broad City, Girl on the Train, Tokyo Vice, Russian Doll, Severance, and Your Place or Mine. Upon completion of her internship at Focus Features, she transitioned to freelance physical production, where she continues to develop her craft, whilst working on new projects.


 
Derek Rubin Workshop with Stockade Works Hudson Valley, NY

Derek Rubin is an independent producer primarily working in the New York and New Jersey production scenes. Past films of his include Associate Producing THE CLIMB (Cannes), lead Producing the Slamdance Jury Prize Winner HIGHER LOVE and Producing the Shudder Original THE UNHEARD. Most recently, he Co-Produced MOTHER’S MILK starring Hillary Swank and Olivia Cooke, and Executive Produced BAD SHABBOS starring Kyra Sedgwick and Method Man. His other Line and Co-Producing credits include LINOLEUM (SXSW), starring Jim Gaffigan, and THE WRATH OF BECKY (SXSW). He owns and operates the production company ExPat Productions which services various commercial and branded clients.
